Big Day Out: Derby Festé

Posted on behalf of Made in Corby

Thanks to funding from Macmillian Cancer Support, join us for a day out at Derby Festé, an outdoor arts festival in Derby city centre for a packed programme of spectacular family entertainment featuring a host of international, national and regional artists and performers.

This trip is specifically funded to benefit people living with or beyond cancer, if you would like to bring a companion with you there is one free ticket per person available

This year's festival will see Derby Cathedral become the Museum of the Moon, celebrated Circus and Aerial Company Ockham's Razor will be in the Belly of the Whale (Pictured) and much, much more will be going on throughout the day. Full details of Saturday's programme can be found here: https://www.derbyfeste.com/whats-on/saturday/

Access Information:

This trip is open to and suitable for all ages. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

We aim to make this trip as easy to access as possible so please call us if you wish to discuss anything on 01536 267895.

Please Note: The coach we will be using for the trip can only accommodate folding wheelchairs and there are steps up to the coach so some walking will be required.

When you arrive in Derby:

We will give you programmes when you arrive in the morning which will give you plenty of time to decide which performances and installations you want to see. You will be free to explore the city for 5 hours, though you will have a member of staff’s contact number if you should need us. The festival takes place in the city centre so there will be lots of places to get some refreshments. At the drop off point, there will be public loos available throughout the day.
